Account Manager
who will own client relationships, drive account growth, and act as a true strategic partner to our clients.
About the Role
As an Account Manager at NINE15, you will be the
owner of the client relationship and growth trajectory
.
You’ll work closely with founders, operators, and internal teams to ensure we’re not only delivering great work — but driving meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Ownership
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts
• Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust and results
• Lead regular check-ins, quarterly reviews, and strategic conversations
• Act as a trusted advisor, not just a service provider
Account Growth & Strategy
• Own the growth and expansion of client accounts
• Identify opportunities across CRO, UX, retention, and new feature development
• Translate client goals into clear, actionable roadmaps
• Proactively recommend initiatives that drive measurable business impact
• Consistently identify needs clients may not yet recognize and align solutions with their future goals
Strategic Oversight & Risk Management
• Partner with Project Managers and production teams to ensure alignment with client objectives
• Monitor account health, project risks, and scope to proactively identify potential issues
• Anticipate blockers, scope creep, or gaps early — and define solutions before they impact delivery
• Help prioritize initiatives based on business value and impact
Performance & Insights
• Review performance data (conversion, UX, retention, etc.)
• Translate insights into clear, strategic recommendations
• Present performance updates and growth opportunities with confidence
Partnerships & Ecosystem Thinking
• Stay ahead of trends within the Shopify ecosystem
• Recommend tools and integrations that drive performance, such as
• Klaviyo, Recharge, Gorgias, Yotpo
• Bring new ideas, innovations, and best practices to clients proactively
What We’re Looking For
• 3–6+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar client-facing role
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Shopify/eCommerce experience required, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, apps, storefront operations, and common growth challenges for DTC brands.
• Solid understanding of web development fundamentals and digital platforms
• Strong grasp of UX, CRO, retention, and eCommerce best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to confidently express ideas and actively listen
• Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail
• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect execution to business outcomes
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, development, and marketing teams
• A proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a desire to grow with the agency
