What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Plan, direct, supervise, and serve as a backup to the daily operations of the Accounts Payable Processors/Account Clerk III's
• Manage the AP helpdesk mailbox and telephone line, providing superior customer service
• Research, analyze, and interpret accounting transactions and documents to resolve payment issues
• Develop, deliver, and maintain training and documentation for AP processes related to invoice validation and processing
• Process daily physical and electronic payment files, ensuring accuracy and compliance
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Three years of professional-level experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SAP or similar accounting systems
• Ability to communicate effectively in various settings and produce clear written responses
• Capacity to perform arithmetic calculations related to accounting tasks
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• At least two years of experience supervising staff
• Experience providing customer service in-person, over the phone, and via email
• Accounts Payable experience and familiarity with SAP or similar accounting systems
• Experience developing and delivering training sessions
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
