Responsibilities:
Teach assigned courses in Educational Psychology, adhering to established curriculum and learning objectives. Develop and deliver engaging lectures, facilitate discussions, and guide student learning. Design and implement appropriate assessments (e.g., exams, papers, projects) to evaluate student comprehension. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance. Hold regular office hours to support students and address their inquiries. Contribute to curriculum development and course enhancement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades. Stay current with research and best practices in educational psychology and pedagogy. Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications:
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field. Demonstrated expertise in core areas of educational psychology, including learning theories, child development, motivation, and assessment. Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is highly preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively engage and instruct diverse student populations. Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or Canvas is a plus.
