About the Role
We are seeking an Amazon Operations/Project Coordinator to support the company's Marketing, Seller Operations, and Creative teams. This is a highly collaborative internal role focused on driving execution, improving accountability, and ensuring projects move forward efficiently across multiple departments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Amazon Advertising, strong project management skills, and the confidence to follow up with team members at all levels of the organization. This position is not client-facing and does not involve direct people management.
You will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Director of Marketplace Operations, and department leaders to coordinate projects, manage workflows, identify blockers, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Coordination & Accountability
- Coordinate work across Marketing, Seller Operations, and Creative teams.
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and project milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Follow up proactively on outstanding tasks and escalate blockers when necessary.
- Maintain clear communication between departments and ensure alignment on priorities.
- Support leadership by identifying risks and keeping projects moving forward.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage internal projects, process improvements, tool implementations, and operational initiatives.
- Build project plans, assign tasks, monitor progress, and drive projects to completion.
- Facilitate internal meetings, document action items, and ensure follow-through.
- Support product launches and cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and internal knowledge resources.
- Convert meeting notes and recorded trainings into actionable documentation.
- Assist with onboarding workflows and operational process improvements.
- Research tools, vendors, and solutions and provide recommendations to leadership.
Systems & Workflow Management
- Maintain and optimize project management systems, including ClickUp.
- Build dashboards, workflows, automations, and reporting structures.
- Ensure project data remains accurate and up to date.
- Promote adoption of project management best practices across teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of project coordination, project management, or operations experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Amazon experience, preferably 2+ years.
- Working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and/or Amazon Advertising concepts.
- Previous experience in an agency, consultancy, e-commerce company, or other fast-paced service environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience using ClickUp, Asana, or similar project management platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Conversational English proficiency.
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Confident personality with the ability to hold team members accountable regardless of seniority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an Amazon agency or larger Amazon-focused brand.
- Familiarity with Amazon Advertising metrics such as ACoS, TACoS, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
- Experience coordinating product launches and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience creating SOPs and operational documentation.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for documentation, research, and process management.
- Experience working in remote and asynchronous environments.
Benefits
- Salary: Approximately $2,000 USD per month
- Fully remote position.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time.
- 20 days of PTO each per year for vacation, holidays and sick days.
- Independent contractor position.
