Mizuho is a leading financial services firm, and they are seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to support the firm’s liquidity resilience and regulatory planning framework. This role involves hands-on exposure to Contingency Funding Planning, Resolution Planning, and enterprise funding strategy, requiring collaboration with senior team members to deliver high-quality analysis and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support annual CFP documentation updates and data compilation, ensuring alignment with evolving business profile and regulatory expectations
- Coordinate annual CFP testing, including operational test plan refresh and Tabletop exercise preparation
- Produce monthly CFP quantification reports and presentation materials
- Partner with Liquidity Risk, Treasury, and business stakeholders to improve stress-readiness and execution clarity
- Draft and update sections of the Resolution Plan under senior guidance
- Maintain BAU documentation and data templates
- Coordinate information requests across Finance, Risk, Legal, and business units
- Support preparation of materials for internal review and regulatory submission
- Assist in development of annual Funding Plan and quarterly updates
- Prepare funding usage and liquidity reporting analytics
- Support NSFR attribution analysis and related reporting
- Conduct ad hoc analysis on funding mix and liquidity metrics
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Risk, Consulting, or related analytical roles
- Strong intellectual curiosity
- Strong quantitative and Excel skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational discipline
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a regulatory-driven environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow within Treasury and liquidity management
