• *Job Overview** We, Alexandria Law Group, are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive administrative support across a wide range of legal practice areas, ensuring smooth operations within the law office. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, legal research expertise, and proficiency with legal case management systems. Your proactive approach and strong communication abilities will help facilitate efficient case handling and support the attorneys in delivering outstanding client service. • *Responsibilities • Manage and maintain legal documents, files, and case records using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw • Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support ongoing cases across multiple practice areas including family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law • Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity • Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress • Perform data entry and document review tasks with accuracy to ensure compliance with legal standards • Provide executive administrative support including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and phone etiquette to ensure seamless communication within the firm • Facilitate client interviews and maintain confidentiality during sensitive information exchanges • Assist attorneys with filing procedures—both electronic—and ensure all documentation is properly organized for easy retrieval • *Experience • Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a fast-paced law office environment with exposure to diverse practice areas , but focusing on high volume traffic matter. • Strong familiarity with legal case management software like iManage and PCLaw; experience with document review and contract drafting is highly desirable • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail • Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence; proofreading expertise is essential • Effective interviewing skills for client interactions; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly • Knowledge of various legal fields such as tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, immigration law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and real estate transactions is a plus • Prior clerical experience including data entry, filing systems management, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions Join our team to be part of an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact the success of our clients’ cases.
