We are seeking an Automation Tester to be a part of a remote team. As a Automation Tester, you are experienced at discovering and identifying automation opportunities in process and technology. They should be able to collaborate with peers, contribute to a wide range of applications, and adapt their software to the system they are improving.
The candidate must reside within the continental US
Responsibilities:
• Provide input/document and update artifacts: Master Test Plan, Test impediments, analysis assessments, LOE, supporting documentation to Rally/JIRA X-Ray/GitHub
• Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing
• Work with developers, end-users, and organizations to create test plans and test scripts
• Work well with multiple deadlines and changing priorities during the development lifecycle
• Write and assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
• Manage the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers
• Create reports, tracking problems, and reports on errors that are identified
• Help assist remotely with site testing and UAT
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is required
• Experience working closely in developer huddles to analyze the scope and create test scripts, cases, and data for functionality planned within a build
• Knowledge of testing enhancements, conducting regression testing, and logging/resolving defects as they arise
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with key stakeholders
• Familiarity with Rally and JIRA Test Artifacts Repository Tools
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience in the VA or other health-related organizations desired
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder, Agile, and DevSecOps environment
• Ability to obtain a government clearance
