AVP, VP MBU Claims Leader

Job Description: • Develop long-term plan for the Medical Business Unit program claims organization • Establish and monitor benchmarks and metrics for team performance • Provide innovative solutions to achieve strategic goals • Cultivate relationships with reinsurers and clients • Manage audit processes and quality standards • Oversee alignment of vertical partners with divisional objectives • Prepare detailed reports and portfolio analysis • Collaborate with Analytics and IT teams for efficiency improvements • Maintain compliance with claims practices and confidentiality agreements • Foster team growth and morale Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required • 10+ years’ experience in related Medical Insurance claims roles (Medical Stop Loss or Medical Excess) • 5+ years of medical program claims experience • 3+ years in a leadership role • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable • Ability to travel Benefits: • Competitive compensation package • Generous 401K employer match • Employee Stock Purchase plan with employer matching • Generous Paid Time Off • Excellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision. • Programs focused on physical, mental, and financial wellbeing • Tuition reimbursement • Industry-related certifications • Professional training opportunities • Volunteer opportunities and corporate giving program
