Join our team in a 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered
Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians,
Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our
unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD),
Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and
Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal
ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This
role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment
focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing
behavioral health crises.
How you’ll contribute
A Behavioral Health Tech (CNA I), who excels in this role:
• Accurately identifies patient needs
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity
in the medical record
• Responsible for activities of daily living

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nursing assistant dedicated to mental
health and the well-being of the patients.
Applicants should have a current state NA I license and completed NA course from
an accredited school. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
