Our Client
In this role, you will be assigned to our UK-based client. They are a finance and professional services business working in the southeast of England. Established 2 years ago, it now provides 3 business consultants to 10 high-growth clients (US$6m to US$25m annual turnovers) and is seeking opportunities for further expansion.
Your Responsibilities
Complete daily bank reconciliations and resolve any outstanding postings, in a timely manner
Process supplier invoices through Sage 50 AutoEntry software, checking, and resolving all posting issues on a weekly basis
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any internal and external queries
Posting customer payments to the Sales Ledger and applying them to the appropriate invoices in a timely manner
Checking invoices within the Accounts Payable against the Purchase Orders raised in the Operational or Finance system and resolving any queries
Raising Commercial Invoices for customs purposes
Your Background
Appropriate Accounting qualifications are essential
A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or transactional finance experience
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Good experience of processing invoices through automated accounts payable software such as Sage AutoEntry and resolving any queries
Sage 50 experience is highly desired
