Your month 1 is about activation, not prospecting.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Month 1:</span> $750k transaction volume</p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Month 3:</span> $2M volume, 8+ anchor clients</p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Month 6:</span> $4M volume, building the team</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Track B — cold builder</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">You build from scratch</span></p> <p>You don't have a portable book but you are an exceptional hunter. You can build a $1M/month pipeline from cold within a quarter. If you are on Track B, you need to demonstrate exceptional cold-hunting track record to advance past stage 2.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt"><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>What you'll own</span></span></p> <ul> <li>Full sales cycle: cold outreach, qualification, rate negotiation, close, onboarding handoff</li> <li>Sector-segmented pipeline across logistics, travel, pharma, e-commerce, and professional services</li> <li>Client wallet share growth month-on-month on existing accounts</li> <li>Market intelligence: competitor rates, corridor demand, client pain points fed back to product and treasury</li> <li>Represent Onboard at industry events and in-market activations</li> <li>Build and develop one junior BD hire by month 6</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt"><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>What we need</span></span></p> <ul> <li>3–6 years in B2B sales or BD inside a cross-border payments, FX, or fintech business — not adjacent to it</li> <li>You have generated $500k+ monthly volume and can defend those numbers client by client</li> <li>Comfortable on rate conversations: spreads, margins, walking away from bad deals</li> <li>Structured pipeline builder — sector-segmented, TPV-projected, operationally disciplined</li> <li>Based in Africa — Lagos, Accra, or Nairobi preferred</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt"><span style="font-weight: bold"><br>Nice to have</span></span></p> <ul> <li>Existing book in FX-intensive sectors that transfers on day one</li> <li>Experience on diaspora corridors (UK–Nigeria, US–Ghana, etc.)</li> <li>Familiarity with stablecoin or DeFi-enabled payment rails</li> </ul>
