Description:
• Build reporting infrastructure, including data pipelines and dashboards, for core data science pillars such as driving quality, safety, and reliability.
• Write high-quality data pipelines with clear metric definitions to ensure consistency across the company.
• Design, define, and govern key performance indicators and core metrics.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Operations, Product, and Regulatory teams to support accurate reporting for multiple audiences.
• Prepare materials and communicate insights to Waymo leadership.
• Run deep analyses of data trends to help drive partner team goals.
• Use advanced SQL and business intelligence tools to support analytics and reporting.
• Work with large-scale datasets and scalable data infrastructure.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar quantitative role in a tech-forward environment.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including window functions, UDFs, and complex joins.
• Experience managing and querying extremely large datasets in tools such as BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines.
• Experience building intuitive, executive-ready dashboards in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Data Studio (preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining data infrastructure for large organizations, including separation of development and production environments (preferred).
• Ability to translate complex data trends into actionable insights for Engineering, Product, and Leadership teams (preferred).
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying business needs before they become bottlenecks (preferred).
Benefits:
• Base salary range of $168,000 to $207,000 USD.
