Client Development / Sales Director (100% Remote II 12-Month Contract)

Overview Our client, a leading organization in the consumer financial services space, is seeking a VP, Client Development to drive growth of its eCommerce Solutions program. This role is focused on acquiring and activating digital merchants, building strategic partnerships, and scaling a high-impact sales channel. Key Responsibilities • Identify, prospect, and close new eCommerce merchant opportunities • Pitch a suite of digital commerce solutions to small and mid-sized online businesses • Re-engage and convert stalled or partial leads within the sales funnel • Develop and manage relationships with distribution partners (e.g., agencies, platforms) to drive scalable growth • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies • Track performance against sales goals and continuously optimize approach • Share market feedback and competitive insights to inform product evolution Must-Have Qualifications • Proven ability to sell and close new business • Experience in eCommerce and/or digital retail environments • 5-7+ years in sales, client development, or account management • Background supporting consumer finance, retail, or private label credit programs is highly preferred What We're Looking For • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong "owner/operator" mentality • Scrappy, results-driven approach to building new programs • Strong relationship-building and communication skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
