About the Role Parking Base is a cloud-native parking management SaaS company serving municipalities, universities, healthcare systems, and commercial operators. Our platform, spanning Permit Manager, Destination Manager, and Access Manager — generates rich operational and financial data that clients rely on to run their programs effectively. We are looking for a Client Reporting & Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact for client-facing data onboarding and reporting across the Parking Base platform. In the near term, this role focuses on client onboarding, including initial General Ledger (GL) mapping configurations, data configuration, account reconciliation, and data validation. Once onboarded, this role would manage client reporting inquiries and discrepancies. Over time, this role will ideally evolve into a more proactive Business Intelligence function, helping clients translate their data into actionable insights that measurably improve their parking performance. This is an analytical, client-facing role at the intersection of financial intelligence, primary and third-party parking data, and parking operations. The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Client Reporting & Account Reconciliation • Serve as the primary client liaison for all reporting-related inquiries, delivering clear, timely, and accurate responses • Manage and execute account reconciliation reporting across client accounts, ensuring data integrity and completeness • Validate reporting outputs from the Parking Base platform against client records, flagging and resolving discrepancies • Investigate and resolve reporting variances through root cause analysis, coordinating with internal product and engineering teams as needed • Maintain documentation of reporting processes, reconciliation workflows, and resolution logs • Quarterly travel to Fort Lee, NJ headquarters Financial Data & GL Coordination • Apply understanding of accounting principles to accurately interpret and communicate financial data within client reports • Support GL mapping validation, ensuring that revenue categories and transaction types are correctly mapped to client chart of accounts • Collaborate with client finance teams on reconciliation processes, acting as a knowledgeable bridge between platform data and accounting systems • Note: This role involves financial analysis and reporting, not direct accounting or bookkeeping functions Business Intelligence & Client Performance • Evolve from reactive reporting support into a proactive BI partner, helping clients interpret their data and identify performance improvement opportunities • Build and deliver reporting packages that translate platform data into meaningful KPIs aligned with each client’s operational goals • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within client data, providing actionable recommendations during regular client touchpoints • Partner with the Client Success team to develop a standard QBR process, onboarding, and strategic account reviews with data-driven insights • Support the development of standardized report templates and dashboards that can scale across the client base Qualifications Required • 3-5 years of experience in client-facing accounting, reporting, financial analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role • Working knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., AR process, revenue recognition, reconciliation, GL structure and mapping), sufficient to interpret financial reports and communicate with finance stakeholders, without performing direct accounting • Experience working in ERP systems (e.g. Netsuite, SAP, Sage) on a day-to-day basis managing AR processes, reconciliations, GL mapping and P&L reporting. • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and discrepancy resolution • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data-driven findings to clients at all organizational levels • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting; experience with BI or reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) a plus • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment Preferred • Familiarity with the parking industry, parking management software, or municipal/campus/healthcare/commercial parking operations • Experience with GL mapping, chart of accounts str Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
