Amazon Web Services (AWS) is focused on building and supporting security services that secure internal systems and networks across Amazon. The Cloud Systems Engineer I will join a DevOps engineering team to build, deploy, and maintain security services used to support the US intelligence community, ensuring services are developed with features that meet end-user needs.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain security services that are used internally to support the US intelligence community
- Work backwards from the customer to ensure our services are developed with features that meet the needs of our end users
Skills
- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
- 1+ years Linux systems administration experience
- 1+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience
- 1+ years of networking experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
- Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems
