Seeking a Construction Planner responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing project schedules using Primavera P6 software. The role focuses on coordinating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment of project activities with defined milestones and deliverables. This role is critical for maintaining efficient project execution, minimizing delays, and supporting overall project success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
Analyze project scope and define work breakdown structures (WBS)
Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual performance
Identify potential scheduling risks, delays, and conflicts, and recommend mitigation strategies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate timeline inputs and updates
Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for stakeholders
Track critical path activities and ensure timely completion of key milestones
Review and validate contractor and subcontractor schedules for accuracy and feasibility
Support planning and forecasting activities to improve project efficiency
Requirements
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
3+ years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, or related roles
Proven experience using Primavera P6 software
Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies and critical path analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
High attention to detail and organizational skills
