Labcorp is seeking a REMOTE Contract Manager to join our team! Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST Responsibilities: • Team Leadership & Development • Lead and manage a team of contract professionals, overseeing workload, priorities, and performance. • Provide coaching, professional development, and training for new hires on contracting policies and best practices. • Client Contract Management, Engagement and Escalation Support • Manage, and at some times, draft, review and negotiate high profile, complex client contracts using pre-approved corporate templates, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies and risk standard, escalating as needed. • Review redlines using pre-approved language (approved deviations) and make determinations when escalation is required. • Address client questions, and drafts emails and or participates on calls related to client questions. • Escalates client concerns on information requests, compliance confirmations, pricing and business team questions, and requests for client calls as needed. • Oversee contract drafting and provide coverage and escalation support as needed. • Review, analyze, and negotiate high profile, complex client-provided contract documents (“client paper”) to align with company requirements and minimize legal and commercial risk. • Maintain accurate records in contract management systems, ensuring data integrity and tracking status. • Monitor contract deadlines, renewals, expirations, and compliance obligations. • Prepare and facilitate Law Department reviews and interpret legal/regulatory matters. • Clearly and accurately informs clients and management of the status of ongoing projects, including time frames, changes to plans, problems, solutions, etc. • Attend stakeholder calls to address business concerns and facilitate escalations to senior leadership. • Collaboration with Legal and Business Teams • Partner with the Law Department to interpret contractual terms, resolve disputes, and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. • Work closely with business units to understand client requirements, operational objectives, and service expectations to translate them into contractual terms. • Advise internal stakeholders on contract structure, process, and risk considerations. • Conduct training and provide guidance to business teams on contracting best practices, processes, and policies. • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and resolve contract exceptions and escalations. • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, including Sales, Law Department, Pricing, RCM, and Corporate Compliance • Client Record Management and Data Integrity • Oversee team use of the contract management system, and at some times, create, update, and maintain client records within the contract management system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of client records in the contract management system. • Monitor for duplicate, missing, or inconsistent client data and oversee resolution of discrepancies. • Bid Management Responsibilities • Monitor DNA Paternity government and state bid opportunities and support proposal development. • Prepare and submit responses to RFPs/RFQs using standard, approved language. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather pricing, compliance, and documentation. • Review bid terms to identify risks and contractual obligations. • Track bid timelines and approvals to ensure timely submission. • Package proposals for legal review and submit to routine clients. • Manage execution of documents and maintain records in the contract system. • Support post-bid clarifications and contract award negotiations. • Communicate bid activity and outcomes to the Senior Manager for reporting. • Serve as an escalation point for bid-related issues. • Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, with 1 -3 years in leadership roles or 8 years’ relevant experience without an Associate degree, with 1-3 years in leadership roles • Preferred Qualifications: • 3-5 years’ experience drafting and negotiating DNA Paternity contracts • 3-5 years’ experience drafting DNA Paternity Government Bids • 3-5 years’ experience working with federal/state/government agencies • 1-2 years’ experience working in iCertis • Additional Job Standards: • Organization skills and having the ability to adapt to high pressure situations is a must. • Good communication skills, verbal and written, necessary. • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Ability to change directions in wo Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
