As a
Cost Controller & Contract Administrator
, you will support the commercial and financial performance of steel fabrication projects through remote cost control, contract administration, and system management. Working closely with the Managing Director and Executive/Admin Assistant, you will maintain accurate project data, support financial reporting, and ensure contract and cost information is up to date.

– Maintain and update project budgets, commitments, and actual costs in Styck
– Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
– Monitor financial performance and flag cost discrepancies or risks
– Track invoices, reconcile costs, and ensure accurate data entry
– Assist in maintaining project cash flow tracking and reporting
Contract Administration
– Assist in preparing and organising subcontract and contract documentation
– Track variations, claims, and contract changes in the system
– Maintain registers for contracts, subcontractors, and variations
– Review submitted invoices and variation documents for completeness
– Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed
Project & System Support
– Operate and maintain project data within Styck
– Ensure accuracy of cost codes, budgets, and financial records
– Support RFQs by organising and comparing submitted quotations
– Generate reports and summaries for the Managing Director
– Coordinate with internal teams (PMs, Managing Director, Admin) for updates and reporting
About You
– 2–3 years’ experience in cost control, contract administration, accounting, or a similar role
– Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
– Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manage project data effectively
– Experience with project or cost management systems (Styck or similar preferred)
– High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail and organisational capability
– Able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
– Understanding of construction, steel, or manufacturing processes is advantageous
