Description: Data Ethics, Privacy, and Governance (Public Policy and Data Analytics Program)
Wake Forest University School of
Professional Studies is seeking highly qualified candidates to develop and teach the Data Ethics, Privacy, and Governance course in
the online Master of Public Policy and Data Analytics program. The ideal candidate is a professional who understands the theory and practice
of Public Policy and Data Analytics, along with recent trends and innovations in the industry.
This course will help students
understand how data can be used to shed light on various policy issues. Students will examine ethical and legal considerations in data
usage, privacy, and governance.
Students meet face-to-face in a virtual classroom environment weekly over an academic term, providing
them the opportunity to reinforce coursework materials, apply academic concepts, and participate in focused discussions with faculty and
colleagues.
Faculty Qualifications:
• Master's degree in program field or related degree. Terminal degree
preferred
• 3+ years of experience in university-level teaching. Preferred applicants also will have a demonstrated ability
to deliver graduate-level, online course experiences that are valued by industry. With the targeted audience for this program being adult
students pursuing career growth, the University seeks to hire colleagues who are highly skilled in and/or highly attuned to adult learning
best practices.
• 5+ years industry experience. Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated commitment
to inclusive excellence and an ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity.

Compensation for
