K12 Coalition 2026 Summer Pathways Internship The K12 Coalition Summer Pathways Internship offers college juniors, seniors, recent graduates, and graduate students hands-on experience supporting meaningful work in K–12 education. Preferred start date: May 11, 2026 End date: Approximately August 14, 2026 Peak program period: June 2026 We understand academic calendars vary. Interns will begin within a limited May start window to ensure a cohesive cohort experience. There may be an opportunity to extend beyond mid-August if schedules allow. Location: Remote, available from anywhere within the U.S. Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week Compensation: $20.00/hour The Opportunity Join Lavinia Group’s Curriculum Team and support the development and organization of high-quality instructional materials used by educators across the country. As a Curriculum Intern, you will assist with the creation, research, organization, and review of curriculum resources across multiple subject areas, including literacy or mathematics. You will gain exposure to the process of curriculum development, instructional design, and content production while supporting projects that help teachers deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction. This role reports to the Director of Curriculum and collaborates with curriculum leaders and specialists across the Lavinia Group team. What You’ll Do Curriculum Development & Content Support • Assist with drafting, reviewing, or editing curriculum materials and supporting instructional resources • Help organize and format curriculum resources for internal and external use Research & Instructional Support • Conduct research to support curriculum development projects, including instructional strategies and standards alignment Content Organization & Systems • Organize and maintain curriculum documents and materials across shared platforms • Assist with content uploads, audits, and updates on curriculum websites or digital platforms Project & Team Support • Support curriculum leaders with ongoing content development projects and deadlines • Assist with preparing materials such as slide decks or supporting documents for curriculum initiatives Other Duties • Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives. Qualifications Required • College junior, senior, recent graduate, or graduate student • Academic background in education, curriculum, literacy, mathematics, or a related field • Strong written communication and editing skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including Google Docs and Sheets Preferred • Education major or prior teaching, tutoring, or instructional experience • Previous internship or work experience in education, curriculum development, or academic programs • Familiarity with curriculum design, instructional materials, or K–12 academic standards • Interest in curriculum development, instructional coaching, or education consulting How We Work at K12 Coalition Our work is grounded in five Core Competencies that guide how we collaborate, support others, and move work forward: Accountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Customer Service Orientation, and Initiative. • Accountability: Following through on work, owning commitments, and communicating progress or challenges along the way. • Adaptability: Navigating change with flexibility and focus as priorities, information, or needs shift. • Collaboration: Working together across roles and perspectives to achieve shared goals. • Customer Service Orientation: Meeting the needs of internal and external partners with clarity, responsiveness, and follow-through. • Initiative: Taking action without waiting to be asked and looking for ways to improve systems, processes, or experiences.
