About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for beneficiaries seeking information and assistance with the Ticket to Work Program. Your expertise and empathy will play a vital role in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their employment and rehabilitation options. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling a range of inbound and outbound calls, while providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide baseline benefits awareness and information available through the Ticket to Work Program to beneficiaries.
- Respond to general inquiries relating to the Ticket to Work Program and other resources and incentives for beneficiaries considering work.
- Refer eligible and appropriate beneficiaries to a WIPA using the National WIPA Database or other designated processes.
- Take immediate action to honor beneficiary requests to opt-out of further communication.
- Address beneficiary questions about Ticket status and Ticket assignments, including those directed to the HelpLine through an IVR call.
- Record detailed case notes for all beneficiaries, capturing information on county of residence, Ticket assignment status, and specific concerns or support needs.
- Distinguish between calls related to the Ticket Program, employment, and rehabilitation, and provide referrals to other support organizations as needed.
- Document referrals to WIPAs and other organizations, ensuring all required fields are completed in the program's electronic system.
- Respond to other call types as directed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Process payments and assist with special projects during downtime between calls.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- A minimum of six (6) months of previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or related environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner.
- General knowledge of government programs and adherence to HIPAA privacy laws.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities.
- The ability to type a minimum of 20 WPM, with 30 WPM preferred.
- Familiarity with CRC or CRM contractor computer systems is desirable.

To work effectively in this role, you'll need:
- A broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps (no satellite connections).
- An Ethernet cable connection (Wi-Fi-only connectivity is prohibited).
- A private and secure workspace within your home, away from noise and distractions.
- A computer and audio headset provided by blithequark (you'll need to pick up equipment on location).
