Cybersecurity Support Engineer @ Jefferson City, MO (Remote)

Endpoint Dlp Implementation Engineer We're looking for an experienced Endpoint DLP Implementation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and management of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, with a strong focus on endpoint security. This role is crucial for protecting our organization's sensitive data and intellectual property across all endpoints. Responsibilities: • Implement and configure endpoint DLP solutions from leading vendors such as Microsoft (Purview/Defender for Endpoint), Netskope, and Forcepoint. • Design and architect comprehensive endpoint DLP policies to meet business requirements and compliance regulations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security operations, IT, and legal, to define and refine data protection strategies. • Conduct policy testing, tuning, and optimization to minimize false positives and ensure effective data protection. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all endpoint DLP-related issues. • Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), policy configurations, and implementation plans. • Stay current with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the data security and DLP landscape. • Participate in incident response activities related to data exfiltration events. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on implementing and managing Endpoint DLP solutions. • Proven expertise with one or more of the following endpoint DLP platforms: Microsoft Purview / Defender for Endpoint DLP Netskope Endpoint DLP Forcepoint DLP Endpoint. • Strong understanding of data classification, encryption, and data handling best practices. • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate) are a plus.
