Position Title: Senior Development Manager

Location: Dublin/ Remote

Aer Soléir is seeking a Development Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a key role in the business.

Aer Soléir’s business model is to identify renewable energy developers across Europe and partner with them to bring their projects to the Ready-To-Build stage. The Development Manager will lead on behalf of the company to bring projects through all development stages to the point that Aer Soléir will; (i) take control and ownership of the projects, (ii) provide the complete financing solution at financial close and (iii) manage and deliver the projects through construction and into commercial operation

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Identifynewgreenfieldrenewableenergyandenergystorageprojectpartneringopportunities
• Advancethedevelopment ofassignedprojectstoReady-To-Buildstatus
• Manageandcoordinatewithourpartnersandwithinternalandexternalresourcesto achieve land acquisition, permitting, interconnection/transmission, and other project development milestones, with accountability for budget and schedule
• Createandmaintainprojectmaps,databasesandtrackingtoolsforassignedprojects
• Supportcommercialandpowermarketingeffortsforassignedprojects
• Performregionalmarketandcompetitiveanalysisaskey input into Aer Soléir market strategy
• Establishandmaintain industry andcommunity relationshipstoadvance project development
• Develop and implement best-in-class systems, procedures, controls, processes and reporting to ensure full transparency of the development phase on multiple projects, in multiple jurisdictions with multiple technologies
• Ensure that the operation of the development side of the business has a comprehensive performance management system for reporting on agreed targets and key performance indicators
• Promote communication and adequate information flow, and thereby solidify management control and direction of the enterprise during projects’ development phases
• Supportduediligenceonprojectacquisitionopportunities
• Providedevelopment support throughengineering, procurement construction, and financing as required
• Other duties as assigned
• Significant travelwithin Europe (50% +)

EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent blend of relevant professional training and experience
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy
• Experience of depth in the development or construction of utility scale wind, solar and storage projects
• Effective communicator with full fluency in Fluency in other European languages will be an advantage
• High energy levels, flexibility and self-motivation will be critical factors for

Salary: 80 - 100
