Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants (NVRC) is seeking a fellowship-trained diagnostic radiologist in Musculoskeletal or Breast or Cardiac imaging for a full time partnership track position in beautiful Arlington, VA.
NVRC is a well-established and growing private practice radiology group with an exclusive contract with the Virginia Hospital Center, a top-rated 400-bed nonprofit and independent hospital in Arlington, Virginia just minutes from the Nation’s capital. The practice is moderate-high volume with continued annual growth. The practice provides comprehensive radiology services to the main hospital campus as well as a modern outpatient pavilion and a newly opened outpatient imaging center in Tyson's Corner. All locations provide the full gamut of outpatient imaging.
Our group is composed entirely of fellowship-trained radiologists. The team functions democratically, with partners and partnership-track radiologists having equal voice. We maintain a healthy relationship with the hospital, with members holding leadership positions within hospital and executive committees.
Practice Structure
• Moderate–high volume with continued annual growth
• Emphasis on high-quality subspecialty-driven interpretation
• Mammography not required
• Teleradiology coverage after 10 PM on weeknights and on weekends
• Procedures performed by a dedicated IR team (4 interventional radiologists)
Call is shared equally amongst all radiologists. Partners work a 4.5-day clinical week. Weekend and weekday call is shared equally, and those covering a weekend receive two full compensatory days off the following week, preserving balance and recovery time.
The practice offers a flexible hybrid model with both on-site and teleradiology opportunities. Weekend and weeknight call are taken entirely from home, and radiologists have opportunities to read remotely during portions of the regular workweek.
Compensation & Partnership
• Income potential: Highly competitive
• Partnership track: 1 year as associate. 3 years to partner
• Starting Salary: Negotiable based on experience
• Paid Vacation: Currently at 10 weeks with potential for a future increase
