Job Title: Digital Publisher Digital Publisher Contract Duration: 4 months, W2 (high likelihood of extension) Work Arrangement: Fully Remote, IL Pay: $25.00/hr Visa Sponsorship: Not available About The Role We are seeking a Digital Publisher to support marketing communications by developing, maintaining, and optimizing web content that serves both internal and external audiences. This role focuses on creating high-quality, accessible, and user-focused digital experiences while ensuring content aligns with brand standards and business goals. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with web publishing platforms, product information management tools, and digital accessibility and SEO best practices. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate, develop, and maintain website content that delivers clear, accurate, and engaging information. • Create and edit digital content for web and print, including drafting straightforward copy and summarizing complex information. • Use content management systems to publish, update, and manage web pages and assets. • Apply user experience and accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive and effective digital experiences. • Support digital marketing initiatives by analyzing website and campaign performance metrics. • Assist with brand management by implementing brand guidelines and measuring content effectiveness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. • Provide guidance and support to others using internal and external digital communication tools. • Help identify and escalate content or process issues related to policy, compliance, or quality standards. • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Required Qualifications • Hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) tools such as InRiver, Akeneo, or similar platforms (required). • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Adobe, CoreMedia, WordPress, or similar. • Demonstrated experience building, editing, and maintaining websites (required). • Strong understanding of UX best practices, accessibility standards, web writing, and SEO (required). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). • Ability to manage and track multiple projects or content streams simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience using website optimization and quality tools such as Siteimprove, Acrolinx, or similar. • Background in digital publishing, marketing, or brand management. • Experience creating and delivering training on digital tools or publishing processes. • Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies. • Project management experience in a digital or marketing environment. Education & Experience • Short-cycle tertiary education or equivalent practical experience. • 1+ year of experience working with structured processes, systems, or digital content workflows. • Exposure to coordinating tasks or supporting the work of others is a plus.
