Director, Commercial & Institutional

​​The Director of Commercial & Institutional Vertical has overall responsibility for the revenue and profit growth of the vertical. The C&I director will be a strong strategic leader responsible for driving growth across the vertical though cross functional collaboration, market development and penetration strategies, talent development, talent acquisition, new product development/implementation, and tactical execution. ​ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES • ​​Proven track record of sales, sales retention, account management, personnel management, and analytic capabilities. • ​Responsible for $75M or greater vertical. • ​Proven strategic, forward, and dynamic strategist with tactical execution skills. • ​Develop, implement and execute C&I Vertical’s Go to Market Strategic Plan.​ • Lead, develop and grow a team of 7-12 highly experience corporate salespeople. • Able to effectively communicate ChemTreat’s offerings to senior level leaders at customers and prospects. • Coordinate the efforts of technical services supporting the vertical, and engage other key stakeholders within the commercial leadership, marketing and support teams. SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES • ​​Able to interface effectively with senior management and field sales leadership.​ • Manage sales-related CRM, Sales Enablement, and ERP systems. • Able to recruit corporate account managers from industry competitors. • Able to operate in a matrixed environment coordinating marketing, field sales, technical support, and internal support teams. • Find, develop and assess in-market and adjacent space opportunities in order to establish market priorities and influence product development efforts through the New Product Innovation Process. • Establish key marketing intelligence processes (VOC, Customer Satisfaction/NPS, Win/Loss Analysis) within the vertical to diagnose gaps in commercial execution and identify countermeasures. • Coordinate internal/external events and communications to include conferences/seminars, tradeshows, customer and charitable giving events in support of customers and prospects. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS • Prior C&I experience strongly preferred. • Strong working knowledge and background in C&I technology. • High level communication skills. • Teamwork and leadership. • Organizational skills; Self-management. • Technical, Analytical skills and business knowledge.
