Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to formulate care quality goals and identify desired outcomes
- Document current processes and existing order pathways, leveraging evidence-based literature
- Develop and maintain clinical content within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate preparation of materials and documentation for multidisciplinary clinical councils
- Provide ongoing support and education for clinicians regarding Evidence-Based Medicine and EMR workflows
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive nursing experience in hospitals or post-acute services
- At least 2 years of experience providing support in an electronic medical record system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems (Cerner or Epic)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in facilitating healthcare improvement committees
- Subject matter expertise in designing and implementing features in electronic medical records
- Project Management experience or certifications (e.g., Prosci ADKAR Certification)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement new models of care
- Strong understanding of nursing practice and clinical workflow
