Daisy Ann Atelier is a private wardrobe stewardship practice serving South King County. We’re growing and looking for 1–2 home sewers to join our contractor rotation for standard alterations work.
This is a great fit if you’re already sewing at home and want consistent, flexible work without the overhead of building your own client base.
What the work looks like:
Just sewing - hems, seam adjustments, waistbands, basic repairs, and fit corrections on casual wear. No customer service required - alterations are pinned and notated by our fit specialists - we coordinate pick up & drop off - you work from your own space on your own schedule.
You’re a fit if you:
• Have a dedicated home sewing setup with well-maintained equipment
• Are proficient in machine sewing, hand stitching and garment construction
• Understand how clothing is built - not just how to sew a straight line
• Have at least 3 years of hands-on alterations experience
• Are reliable, self-directed, and communicate clearly
• Can turn work around while meeting quality standards consistently without needing to be managed
