The role involves working on site design, utility plans, and grading plans while collaborating with design teams and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
- Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
- Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports
- Implement designs that are compliant with a variety of regulatory code requirements and client standards
- Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians
- Occasionally travel to project and client sites for observations and meetings
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
- 1 - 2 years professional working experience with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
- United States Citizenship
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
- 1- 2 years experience working on land development projects, with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
