Job Description:
• Responsible for requirement gathering, design, build/configuration, testing, validation and ongoing support of assigned Epic applications
• Coordinate aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, adoption, communication, maintenance and evaluation of Epic and related information systems
• Participate in on-call rotation including weekend and after-hours coverage
• Responsible for managing projects related to Epic and related third party systems
• Trains and mentors team members
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in Business, IT or Healthcare Related field required or 2 years of IT or healthcare experience in lieu of degree
• Relevant job-related certifications with Epic application certification within 90 days of hire, as applicable
• Understanding of the organization, users and workflow in the analyst’s assigned area
• Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, manage issues, oversight and implementation of project plans
• Ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community
• Thoroughly review, analyze and test every system change; follow proper change control processes.
• Assists in the development, implementation, education, evaluation, maintenance and coordination of Epic and related applications.
• Maintains contacts with Epic partner and related vendors; attend product demonstrations, user group meetings, Epic sponsored webinars, etc.
