As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you'll collaborate directly with customer teams to provide expert advisory services across a range of technologies, leveraging structured intellectual property (MIP) engagements to establish trusted advisor relationships and guide customers towards achieving a healthy and secure state. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Active Directory Security Customer Engineer, you'll be responsible for: * Collaborating with customer teams to provide expert advisory services across a range of technologies, including Active Directory Domain Services, design and architecture, multi-domain forest design concepts, forest trust planning, and more. * Establishing trusted advisor relationships with customers and guiding them towards achieving a healthy and secure state. * Developing and delivering customized solutions to meet the unique needs of each customer. * Providing expert-level support and guidance on Active Directory security, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting. * Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Active Directory security and sharing knowledge with the team. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Deep knowledge (300 – 400 level) in the following technology areas: + Active Directory Domain Services + Design and architecture + Multi-domain forest design concepts + Forest trust planning + Domain Controller capacity planning + FSMO role placement + OU Topology design + Knowledge of Active Directory site topology design + Group Policy strategy and best practice + Privilege account best practices Tier model + Delegation of permissions strategy + Group management best practice + Integration of third-party LDAP applications + RODC (Read-Only Domain Controller) deployment and management + Basic PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management + Entra Connect and synchronization * Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent, Microsoft Certified Trainer or equivalent, or Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP) or equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following skills and certifications are highly desirable: * Entra ID * RBAC * Authentication Models * Cloud Auth (PTA/PHS) * Federation * Device Management * Hybrid Join * AADJ * Entra ID Connect * Syncing Active Directories Identities * Entra Password Protection * Entra ID P2 Features * Entra Private Access * Entra Global Access * Entra ID Governance * Entra ID Protection * Entra Verified ID * Conditional Access * Self-service Password Reset (SSPR) * Privileged Identity Management * ADFS * Active Directory Certification Services * Azure services * Azure Monitor * Azure Sentinel * Defender for Endpoint * Active Directory Security * Remediation of security assessment findings * Tuning audit policy * Event forwarding * Password policy best practice and settings (including Fire-grain password policy) * Applying security baselines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
