Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure seamless integration into the school community
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
- A New Jersey Substitute Credential
- A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
- An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working with students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
- Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching, classroom management, and other relevant educational topics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with educational technology and software

Compensation and Benefits
