The Role: Business Intelligence Analyst, Paid Media Analytics We're searching for an information-driven, conscientious Business Intelligence Analyst to support our paid media analytics capability and surface data-driven strategic opportunities for the executive leadership team. In this role, you'll focus on optimizing our paid media spend globally and work with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiency of our advertising investments. You'll be responsible for developing reporting and analyses that frame and drive decisions, creating KPIs and scorecards to track progress and performance, and playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through customized reporting and insights that inform our paid media strategy. Key Responsibilities Deliver reporting and insights in the area of paid media, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels Plan and lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives aimed at enhancing paid media performance and improving marketing efficiencies Collaborate with the paid media data science team and marketing teams on implementing advanced media mix models and attribution frameworks Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by insightful interpretation of results and the design and communication of recommendations that drive action Partner with marketing, finance, and data product teams to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance using a data-driven approach Leverage SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI, Excel and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and conduct deep dives to perform root cause analysis, uncovering the "why" behind performance trends Work with cross-functional partners to utilize internal data (from arenaflex systems) and external data from market research and advertising partners to address complex business challenges Brainstorm and execute analysis that produces insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting systems to provide real-time visibility into paid media performance Present findings to senior leadership and translate technical analysis into business-friendly language that drives strategic decisions Essential Qualifications Experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field (minimum 2-4 years preferred) Advanced SQL experience – must be comfortable writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and optimizing for performance Advanced proficiency in at least one industry-leading analytics and statistics visualization tool (Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI, or similar) Mastery in Excel with a proven history of using advanced functions, pivot tables, VBA, and data modeling for business analysis Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related quantitative field Strong analytical skills with the ability to scope problems, design relevant questions, draw pertinent data, and provide actionable insights Ability to work independently as an autonomous, thoughtful self-starter with sharp problem-solving abilities Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make sound determinations in fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications Team player who enjoys working in a highly collaborative, Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
