**Job Summary**
As a Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for engaging with customers via online chat, providing accurate information about our dealer clients' products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, using your own computer or laptop, and will be required to attend 4 weeks of remote training.
**Responsibilities**
- Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, responding promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about our dealer clients' products and services, including automotive and recreational vehicle sales, service, finance, and general dealership information.
- Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring seamless communication between customers and dealerships.
- Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our dealer clients to generate revenue from their website traffic.
- Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services, staying up-to-date with industry developments and trends.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills are essential, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change.
- A positive and professional demeanor is crucial, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred.
**Requirements**
- Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse.
- Must live within the state listed in the posting (Corpus Christi, TX).
- Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions is essential, as this is a remote position.
- Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT.
