**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* **Education:** Minimum high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
* **Experience:** 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role, with medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience preferred
* **Language:** Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
* **Skills:**
+ Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
+ Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
+ Knowledge of medical terminology, provider organizations, and networks
+ Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates and ability to negotiate rate structures
* **Certifications:** None required, but certifications in medical terminology, customer service, or a related field are a plus
**Responsibilities**
As a Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards
* Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out-of-network providers
* Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions
* Documenting all calls received in system-based call log
* Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed
