As a fully remote team, we're committed to creating a flexible and inclusive work environment that allows our employees to thrive. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for: * Fielding incoming customer service calls, resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner * Researching account status and identifying account issues * Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes * Processing disconnection and re-connection requests * Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues * Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests * Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role **Essential Qualifications:** * Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required * Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal) * Excellent listening skills * Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers * Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service * Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements * Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace **Preferred Qualifications:** * Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred * Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred * Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
