**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Fielding incoming customer service calls and resolving customer issues in an accurate and timely manner
* Researching account status and identifying account issues
* Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes
* Processing disconnection and re-connection requests
* Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues
* Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests
* Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
**Skills and Knowledge**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required**: You'll be communicating with customers in both English and Spanish, so proficiency in both languages is essential.
* **Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills**: You'll be interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat, so excellent communication skills are crucial.
* **Excellent listening skills**: You'll need to listen attentively to customers' concerns and respond accordingly.

**Experience**
To be considered for this role, you'll need:

* **Customer care experience strongly preferred**: Experience in customer care is highly valued, as it demonstrates your ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
* **Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred**: Experience in the retail electricity industry is highly valued, as it demonstrates your knowledge of the industry and its complexities.
* **Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred**: Experience in similar markets is highly valued, as it demonstrates your ability to adapt to new industries and environments.
