As a key member of our Customer Support Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive timely and accurate support for their aircraft parts and services needs.

**Your Working Environment**
Located just five miles from Washington Dulles International Airport, our Herndon facility serves as our major parts distribution hub in the Americas. The facility is a 24/7 fulfillment center, with an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk, and Quality Assurance (QA) operations. Our 20,000-square-foot warehouse features state-of-the-art technology, including Autostore, which aims to increase productivity and efficiency.
**Your Challenges**
As a Customer Order Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Processing customer orders, quotations, initial order receipts, order entry, sourcing, escalation, backorders, general logistics, etc. for aircraft parts and services in response to customer needs.
* Providing requested information on part availability, cost, sourcing, returns, discrepancies, transportation, delivery, and follow up to meet customer expectations.
* Responding to technical inquiries utilizing Technical Documentation and liaising with technical and engineering departments to respond to customer inquiries.
* Ensuring customer shipping specifications are followed for critical orders and resolving discrepancies working with internal and external customers.
* Communicating potential urgent situations on critical orders and exploring technical solutions.
**Your Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the aviation industry or military support environment is preferred.
* An Associate's Degree in Business, Sales Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to work 3rd shift/overnight hours (10:00 pm to 6:30 am).
