Job Overview

As a Ticket/Gate Agent at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, greeting them warmly and guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our company, and we offer comprehensive training and mentorship to help you advance your career. Your responsibilities will include managing the check-in and boarding processes, making gate announcements, and ensuring that customers have the necessary travel documentation. In addition to customer service, you will be responsible for physically handling baggage, operating loading bridges, and escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, and be at least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States. You will also need to have proficiency in English, strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic digital literacy. Additionally, you will need to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment, and be able to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
