**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
* **Customer Experience:**
+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
+ Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
* **Operations:**
+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
+ Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
+ Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
+ Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
+ Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
+ Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
+ Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
+ Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
+ Assume web pick-up responsibilities and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
+ Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
* **Training & Personal Development:**
+ Attend training and complete PPLs (Product, Process, and Location) requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous customer service experience in a retail environment preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in a retail environment, particularly in customer service and sales.
* Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
