**Job Summary:**
Join arenaflex, a leading provider of Elderly Home Based Care and various other services in the US, as a Customer Service Representative in our after-hours team. This is a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in South Africa, with a flexible schedule that offers a 3-day working week and a Saturday and Sunday shift. **Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Service Representative in our after-hours team, your responsibilities will include:
* Answering all incoming calls and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
* Resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours support
* Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
* Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary
* Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
* Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
* Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed
* Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* **Fluent English**: You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* **Compassionate and Confident**: You should be compassionate and confident in your ability to provide exceptional customer service.
* **Responsible and Reliable**: You must be responsible and reliable, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
* **10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties**: You should have at least 10 years' experience in customer service and office duties, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service.
* **Adaptable and Flexible**: You must be adaptable and flexible regarding work hours, with the ability to work a 3-day week and a Saturday and Sunday shift.
* **Impeccable phone and computer skills**: You should have impeccable phone and computer skills, with the ability to navigate our platform and software with ease.
* **Staffing and/or health care experience**: You should have experience in staffing and/or health care, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
* **Experience working remotely and independently to the USA**: You must have experience working remotely and independently to the USA, with a strong understanding of the time zones and cultural differences.
* **Quiet and professional work-from-home environment**: You should have a quiet and professional work-from-home environment, with a reliable internet connection and a backup plan for load-shedding.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 10+ years' experience in customer service and office duties
* Experience in staffing and/or health care
* Experience working remotely and independently to the USA
* Impeccable phone and computer skills
* Fluent in English
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, communications, healthcare)
* Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
* Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
* Experience working with a similar platform and software
