**Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* **Managing the check-in and boarding processes**: You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, greeting them warmly and guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process.
* **Making gate announcements**: You'll ensure that customers have the accurate travel documentation and make announcements to keep them informed about flight schedules and any changes.
* **Handling baggage**: You'll be responsible for physically handling baggage, which may involve tagging and lifting bags weighing up to 70 pounds.
* **Operating loading bridges**: You'll operate loading bridges to ensure that passengers and their luggage are safely transported to and from the aircraft.
* **Securing aircraft doors**: You'll open, close, and secure aircraft doors to ensure that passengers and their luggage are safely on and off the aircraft.
* **Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers**: You'll escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport to ensure their safety and well-being.
* **Scheduling**: You'll work a variety of shifts, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to meet the operational needs of the airport.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* **A high school diploma or equivalent**: You'll need a solid educational foundation to succeed in this role.
* **Age and authorization to work in the United States**: You must be at least 18 years old and have authorization to work in the United States.
* **Proficiency in English**: You'll need strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
* **Basic digital literacy**: You'll need to be comfortable using technology to perform your job duties.
* **Pass a physical ability test (PAT)**: You'll need to pass a physical ability test to ensure that you can safely perform the physical demands of the job.
* **Pass a Customer Service Assessment**: You'll need to demonstrate strong customer service skills to succeed in this role.
* **Airport-specific requirements**: You'll need to obtain a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal to work in the airport.
