You'll be responsible for greeting customers, assisting them with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering questions about our store and products. If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, building strong relationships with our customers and creating a welcoming store environment. * Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment. * Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. * Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, ensuring accurate inventory levels and a visually appealing store display. * Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Remains constantly aware of customer activity, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment, and responding promptly to customer needs and concerns. * Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation. **Position Requirements** * Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. * Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. * Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs.
