As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves our store with a smile * Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that meets the highest standards of quality and safety * Assisting with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor * Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are always available and easily accessible to customers * Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using our POS system, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security * Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, anticipating and addressing any potential issues or concerns * Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation **Position Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned * Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, but not required * The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the capacity to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation * A flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work a full-time schedule as needed **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction * Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management * Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a variety of situations * Job knowledge and relationship management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
