**Scope of the Role**
As a Customer Service Representative – FNOL Claims Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for policyholders reporting losses or damages. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Gathering relevant information, such as policy details, incident specifics, and contact information
* Clarifying coverage terms as needed
* Offering clear and empathetic guidance to policyholders on next steps in the claims process
* Explaining the required documentation and information needed to process the claim
* Accurately recording all information gathered during the FNOL process in the company's claims management system
* Ensuring completeness and accuracy of claim reports
* Liaising with claims adjusters and inspectors to schedule assessments and inspections, if necessary
* Providing adjusters with detailed information regarding the reported loss
* Addressing any concerns or questions the policyholder may have
* Ensuring all FNOL processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
* Providing feedback to management on ways to improve the FNOL process for enhanced customer satisfaction and efficiency
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree is a plus)
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
* Knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies, coverage, and claims processed is a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bilingual (English & Spanish)
* Experience working in a remote setting
* Familiarity with claims management systems and software

**Compensation and Benefits**
