**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our store
* Run the register, cashier, and make purchase suggestions to enhance the shopping experience
* Work with our food program to provide customers with a variety of options
* Maintain a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
* Provide fast and friendly service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
* Interact with customers daily, building relationships and resolving any issues that may arise
* Work collaboratively with a fun and energetic team to achieve daily goals and maintain high standards for store appearance
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
* A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
* Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical requirements as outlined below
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:
* Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of success
* Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling
* High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and communication
* Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
**Physical Requirements**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:
* Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
* Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
* Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
* Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
* Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
* Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and occasional ladder climbing
