**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative I to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a remote opportunity, and you will be required to work from home after completing an onsite training period.
**Primary Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative I, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Assisting customers via phone or in-person, providing them with accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and concerns
* Reviewing confidential tax information and maintaining a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies
* Providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies and procedures
* Offering customer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
* Utilizing technology for advanced support and resolving complex customer issues
* Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all customer interactions are friendly, professional, and respectful
**Minimum Entry Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing information

**Requirements**
To be eligible for this role, you must:
* Pass a criminal background check
* Obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes
**Compensation and Benefits**
