**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Daytona Beach, FL. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls pertaining to insurance servicing questions, providing exceptional support to borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling payment and coverage questions, and ensuring that both our internal and external standards are met on a consistent basis.
**Responsibilities**
* Handle approximately 35-45 inbound calls per day, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending on the length of each call.
* Respond to questions from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions regarding home owners insurance.
* Multi-task between various systems to research and document phone calls.
* Ensure that all calls are handled in a professional manner, with a focus on problem-solving and problem resolution.
* Meet or exceed quality and attendance expectations, with a focus on meeting adherence standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer support.
**Requirements**
* At least 1 year of recent customer service experience, preferably in an insurance or mortgage environment.
* Efficient in using a Windows PC computer and navigating software systems.
* Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Reliable internet connection for remote work.
**Nice to Have**
* 2+ years of call center experience.
* Insurance or mortgage experience.
* Bilingual in Spanish, with a pay differential available for fully bilingual candidates.
**Schedule**
* First 30 days: fully on-site for training, 9:30am to 6pm.
* After training: hybrid schedule, 10:30am to 7pm, based on meeting adherence, quality, and attendance expectations.
* No time off in the first 4 weeks.
**Pay and Benefits**
* Pay range: $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
