**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering a wide range of inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a remote opportunity, and you'll need to live within 50 miles of Richmond, VA. **Responsibilities**
* Answer inbound member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
* Provide accurate and timely information to customers, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
* Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
* Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve complex issues
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Training and Onboarding**
* Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role
* You'll receive training on our systems, processes, and policies, as well as ongoing coaching and support to ensure your success
* Our training schedule is 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, for the first 6 weeks
* Once you've completed training, you'll transition to our production schedule, also 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
* Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
* Ability to work from home and be self-sufficient
* Must commute to the office in Richmond, VA when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting
* Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
* Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits and services
**Compensation and Benefits**
* The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $27.90 per hour
