You'll work closely with our clinical staff to resolve patient needs, answer phone calls, and provide accurate information to our customers. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Responsibilities** * Answer an average of 60-80 incoming phone calls per day from customers and identify the type of assistance they need * Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems * Communicate directly with clinical staff for patient needs, including medication refills, referral requests, and chart troubleshooting * Schedule appointments for patients and update demographics as needed * Perform other tasks as required to ensure seamless customer service **Training and Development** We offer 90 days of paid training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Our training program is comprehensive and includes both classroom and on-the-job training. You'll work closely with our experienced team members to learn our systems, processes, and procedures. **Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent experience * Must be 18 years old or older * Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications * Typing speed of 40 wpm * 1 year of experience in a customer service environment, using phones and computers as the primary job tools * Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Mountain Time, with occasional overtime as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * 1 year of prior healthcare experience * Knowledge of medical terminology **Telecommuting Requirements** * Reside within Golden, CO * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy **Compensation and Benefits** The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
