**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, brokers, and internal teams. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your role will be critical in ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. You'll work closely with our internal teams to resolve customer inquiries, provide information on payment or policy status, and facilitate the processing of evidence of insurance requests.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer incoming calls and assist callers with inquiries, including but not limited to:
+ New business (quotation/payment status)
+ Renewals (payment/issuance status)
+ Endorsements (processing status/evidence of insurance requests)
+ Inspections
+ Deficiency letters
+ Cancellations/non-renewals
+ CEA (payment/policy/quotation status)
* Perform daily assigned work with primary emphasis on call center activities
* Research and resolve customer or broker questions/problems
* Handle agency licensing tasks, including:
+ Registering new brokers
+ Address changes
+ Agency mergers
* Follow up with other departments to resolve problem files
* Input data in a desktop database for all incoming calls
* Assist customers at the front desk when necessary
* Distribute faxes and other correspondence to the department
* Facilitate the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
* Participate in individual and group training designed to improve service
* Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma and basic computer skills required
* 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience required
* Good communication skills, with emphasis on phone skills
* Good interpersonal skills (both internal and external) and ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks
* Occasional decision making and judgment required
* Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
* Sound decision making skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
* Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment
* Knowledge of insurance industry terminology and concepts
* Experience with desktop databases and software applications
